


With a career spanning 17 years in community supports, April is a disability and mental health all rounder (having experience accross a huge range of support needs). April began her career supporting young men on the autism spectrum in schools and proving support to children in out of home care.
April gained specialised training and insight into supporting people with complex behavioural support needs and moved into managing accomodation and supports for people with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities.
April has gained specialist skills and qualifications in counselling and supervision and held a range of positions in disability service development and leadership.
With a deep level of knowledge of practice quality and participant safeguarding, April can ensure her participants receive the highest quality supports. April is committed to supporting people to live their best life, however that looks for them. April has lived experience of the NDIS as a family member and lived experience of neurodiversity and mental health recovery. April has been working in the support coordination space since 2018.
